I am an international biotech and investment executive who connects transformative science with the capital, strategic partnerships, and operating discipline required to scale it into meaningful business and healthcare impact.

I am currently Head of External Innovation and Early Innovation Partnering for Integrated Biologics at Lonza in Basel, Switzerland. I oversee the global Innovation Center’s portfolio of partnerships, collaborations, and investments, constructing, prioritizing, and advancing an early external innovation pipeline of more than 500 opportunities.

As a member of the Biologics leadership team since 2022, I lead a senior team that searches for, evaluates, and executes early-stage investment and partnership transactions. We work with venture capital firms, accelerators, entrepreneurs, academics, and government organizations to identify science and technology of strategic value to biologics, specialized modalities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

My background spans venture investment, commercial leadership, and transactions across Lonza, Carl Zeiss, and Materialise. I serve on the board of Switzerland Innovation, hold supervisory and advisory positions with innovative biotech companies, and manage LP and VC relationships for Lonza-affiliated venture capital funds.

I hold a PhD in Human Biology from LMU Munich and an Executive MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School. I also contribute to the global biotech conversation as a conference panellist and through interviews with leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare publications.
